We’ve known Devola in one way or another for almost five years, and the big jolly red head is always the nicest man in the room. In addition, his distinct musicality (which stems from his days as an indie-rock drummer) means that when he makes remixes and mash-ups, they actually work sonically as well as conceptually. Possibly inspired by us but probably not, Devola’s taken it upon himself to release one mix a day for the next month, which may get him sued more times than he has breakfast. That’s the kind of insanity we applaud over here at One A Day, so we’re very proud to present to you what we think is his best mix-up yet, which marries Bill Withers with Massive Attack in the best possible way.
