We don’t have to tell you how much we love our friend Kimbra again because by now she’s kicking so many goals that the world doesn’t have enough accolades to give her. On the back of her amazing debut, Vows, she’s been flying to L.A. to record with Van Dyke Parks, hooking up with John Legend to write new material and generally living the dream. We think she must be exhausted – she told us as much, but if there’s anyone who can get it done with spunk and musicality it’s this lady. Here, her latest single (and one of our faves) is given remix treatment by Beni, who you may remember also did a great one for Flight Facilities, not to mention his own jams. It takes the vocal loop and works it into something dark and sensuous. Our favourite people together? How could we not dig?
